About

I am a fully qualified osteopath specialising in both structural and cranial osteopathy techniques currently working in private clinics in Purley and Crystal Palace.

I obtained a first class honours degree in Osteopathy from the College of Osteopaths and received the Don Upton Award for coming third in my year. I also have a previous BSc (Hons) degree in Food Science and Nutrition (Home Economics) from the University of Wales College of Cardiff. My osteopathic degree training involved extensive clinical training and I now undertake ongoing training courses and attend industry events to ensure I am up to date with the latest professional practices.

I am registered with the General Osteopathic Council (which regulates our profession and sets and promotes high standards of competency, conduct and safety); am a member of the British Osteopathic Association (the professional association for osteopaths) and have full professional indemnity insurance.

I decided to retrain as an osteopath after working for 10 years in the corporate business worlds of Wine and Hospitality PR, Oil and Gas Conference Research and Energy Insurance Marketing. I had turned to an osteopath after experiencing chronic back and neck symptoms resulting from the physical and mental strain from my work.  This holistic approach changed my thinking about my lifestyle and work and effects on my health.  Over a period of a few weeks, I became symptom-free with his treatments.  I also became aware of the factors that could cause a recurrence of my condition therefore enabling me to manage my own health.

Outside of my work my hobbies include going to the gym, theatre, cinema, sailing and cooking.
